1 1/2 c Quick quaker oats

1 1/2 c Quaker oat bran cereal

3/4 c Vegetable oil

1 c Firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 c Granulated sugar

4 Egg whites; lightly beaten

2 ts Vanilla extract

1 c All-purpose flour

1/2 ts Salt

1/2 ts Baking soda

3/4 c Raisins

3/4 c Chopped walnuts or pecans

Recipe by: Penny Saver Heat oven to 180 C (350 F). Beat together oil, egg whites, sugars, and vanilla extract. Add Quick Quaker Oats, Quaker Oat Bran Cereal, flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir to blend well. Add raisins and nuts and blend uniformly. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes; the cookies should not brown very much. Remove to rack to cool. Makes about 4 dozen. -----
